City of Prospect’s Weekly FOGO Trial Survey competition Terms & Conditions

  1. City of Prospect (CoP) and the Eastern Waste Management Authority (EWMA)
    are running the prize draw.
  2. The prize draw is only open to residents and/or businesses of City of Prospect
    residing or operating within the Weekly FOGO Trial area (Thursday’s collection
    zone).
  3.  By entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and
    eligible to claim any prize you may win.
  4. A maximum of one entry per one entry per household or business is permitted.
  5. CoP, EWMA staff members and Elected Members are not permitted to enter the
    competition.
  6. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be
    offered.
  7. The Survey must be completed in full and contact details (including address)
    must be entered to be eligible for the prize.
  8. Personal information will not shared; however, this must be provided to be
    eligible and for issuing of the gift card. The prize draw will include individuals
    who have completed the survey and entered their details by the close of
    business on Friday, February 9th, 2024. Entries submitted after this date and
    time will not be considered for the draw.
  9. By entering your personal information, you consent to any personal contact
    information being used by CoP & EWMA for the purposes of administering the
    prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.
  10. The winners will be drawn at random.
  11. The winners will be notified after 9 February 2024 via the contact details
    provided in the survey.
  12. CoP and/or EWMA will attempt to contact the winner up to two times.
  13. If the winners do not respond to the phone call, email or voicemail messages
    notifying them of their win within 14 days, they will lose their right to the prize,
    and CoP & EWMA reserves the right to draw and notify a new winner.
  14. Gift card prizes will be issued to winners via post unless requested otherwise.
  15. CoP & EWMA’s decision on all matters related to the competition will be deemed
    final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. CoP & EWMA does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury, or
    disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the
    prize draw or being selected for a prize.
  17. CoP & EWMA does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this prize.
    On receipt, all responsibilities relating to warranty and the product are that of
    the prize winner.
  18. CoP & EWMA reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms
    and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
  19. The winner agrees to the possible use of their name and image in any publicity
    material. Please advise if you do not wish for your name, image/photo (if taken)
    to be used.
  20. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used
    solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will
    not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. The
    winner’s name and photo may be published (if permitted to do so) on COP and
    EWMA website and social media.
